Colin joined CAI in 1998 as Vice President of Marketing and has also been involved with underwriting, reinsurance placement and investment management during his tenure. He became President of CAI in 2010 and President of STICO in 2015. As STICO’s President, he is responsible for the oversight of all insurance operations.

Kathleen joined CAI in 2017. She is directly involved in all AP/AR and Bookkeeping functions and coordinates with all CAI staff and STICO Mutual’s accounting office in Vermont. Kathleen also performs numerous other administrative duties related to policyholder relations and Board of Directors meetings.

Ryan joined CAI in 2021 after spending significant time producing new business for Chubb and The Hartford. In his role with CAI, Ryan is primarily responsible for generating new business for STICO Mutual through new or existing agency partner relationships, overseeing existing and new association partnerships and working with prospective insureds directly.

Katie joined CAI in 2012 as the Account Manager/Assistant Underwriter. She serves as the primary underwriter of new business and renewals, and also handles all requests for certificates, endorsements, policy issuance and any coverage questions.
Anna Mateja

Anna joined the CAI team as Claims Manager in 2012. She is responsible for the administration of both warranty and liability claims submitted by members of STICO. Anna is directly involved in all areas of the claim’s adjustment process, stemming from the initial claim’s response and coordination of claims investigations to timely disbursement of funds and claims settlement.

Samantha joined CAI in 2020. In her role as Account Manager, she corresponds with our agency partners and shepherds new business submissions through the underwriting and quoting process. She is also responsible for STICO’s social media presence and its quarterly e-newsletter.
Brian Donovan

Brian was the founder of CAI and its predecessor in 1988. He was actively involved in the formation of STICO Mutual that same year and served as its President until September 2015. He has been involved in the steel and tank industries for over 40 years. As CAI Senior Advisor, he provides claims expertise and general advice and counsel.
